The Center for Heat Treating Excellence (CHTE) is a leading research center focused on advancing heat treating technologies for industrial applications. The team at CHTE approached ZYLAB with a request for a fluidized bed furnace tailored for lab-scale experimentation, thermal process simulation, and metallurgical studies.
To meet their requirements, our engineering team provided a fully customized solution designed to deliver excellent temperature uniformity, gas distribution control, and safe continuous operation under different gas atmospheres.

- Temperature Range: Up to 1200°C
- Reactor Tube Material: High-purity quartz tube with 16-40 µm quartz sand filter plate
- Bed Volume: Optimized for lab-scale fluidization (suitable for small particle loads)
- Gas Control System: Precision flow control with Digital Mass Flow Controller (MFC)
- Heating Method: Uniform resistive heating with intelligent touchscreen controller
- Atmosphere Compatibility: Supports various atmospheric environments, including air, vacuum, inert gases (such as nitrogen, argon), and more to meet different experimental needs.
- Safety Design: Over-temperature protection, emergency gas shut-off, and air cooling system
This furnace enables precise simulation of heat treatment, powder behavior, and reaction kinetics in a fluidized bed system, offering unmatched flexibility for academic and industrial research.
