ZYLAB High-Temperature Vacuum Debinding Furnace
Introduction
The ZYLAB Laboratory Vacuum Debinding Furnace with Condensate Trap is designed for high-temperature vacuum debinding and thermal processing of advanced materials, including metal injection molding (MIM) parts, powder metallurgy components, ceramic green bodies, and other materials requiring controlled binder removal.
The furnace features a sealed processing chamber, programmable temperature control, and a condensate collection system designed to capture condensable vapors and decomposition byproducts generated during debinding. By collecting condensable substances before they reach the vacuum pump, the system helps reduce pump oil contamination and maintenance requirements.
With a maximum temperature of 1700°C, a recommended heating rate of up to 10°C/min, and a programmable control system, the supports controlled thermal profiles for laboratory-scale materials research and process development. Optional process configurations can be discussed for applications requiring additional atmosphere control or combined debinding and sintering.
Key Features
High-Temperature Vacuum Debinding
Designed for controlled binder removal under vacuum or compatible inert-gas atmospheres. The enclosed processing chamber helps limit exposure to air and reduce oxidation risks for oxidation-sensitive materials.
Integrated Condensate Trap for Vacuum Pump Protection
The condensate collection vessel captures condensable vapors, binder residues, and other byproducts before they enter the vacuum pump. This helps reduce pump oil contamination, deposits in vacuum lines, and maintenance requirements.
Programmable Multi-Stage Temperature Control
Multiple thermal process programs can be configured and stored. Controlled heating stages help accommodate binder removal at different temperatures and reduce the risk of bubbling, cracking, or deformation caused by unsuitable heating profiles.
Vacuum and Inert-Gas Process Control
Integrated pressure monitoring and two gas flowmeters support process monitoring and gas-flow adjustment. The system can be configured for vacuum and compatible protective-gas processing according to application requirements.
Process Data Recording and Remote Monitoring
Programmable schedules, process data storage, temperature correction, and remote monitoring help improve workflow efficiency, support repeatable experiments, and simplify process tracking.

Condensate Trap and Exhaust Treatment System
The integrated condensate trap is designed to collect condensable substances generated during vacuum debinding and other compatible thermal processes before they reach the vacuum pump.

Key functions
-
Condensable Vapor Collection: Captures vapors that condense as they cool, including suitable binder-derived vapors, organic residues, and moisture.
-
Vacuum Pump Protection: Helps reduce condensable contamination of pump oil and internal pump components, supporting more reliable vacuum operation.
-
Particulate and Deposit Management: Provides a collection point for some entrained deposits and residues. Additional filtration may be needed for fine powder applications.
-
Exhaust Pretreatment: Works with the gas washing bottles to support preliminary treatment of compatible process exhaust before discharge to a suitable exhaust-handling system.
- Convenient Cleaning and Maintenance: The removable collection vessel and bottom drain facilitate the collection and removal of accumulated condensate and residues.
