ZYLAB Handheld K-Type Armored Thermocouple and Digital Thermometer
Introduction:
The ZYLAB Handheld K-Type Armored Thermocouple is a high-precision temperature sensing instrument designed for accurate furnace temperature calibration and measurement. It is widely used in high-temperature tube furnaces, muffle furnaces, and laboratory sintering systems.
This thermocouple adopts a composite armored structure with reinforced protection tubes and advanced surface modification treatment, providing excellent durability and long service life even under harsh conditions.
When paired with a ZYLAB digital thermometer, this handheld thermocouple allows real-time monitoring and precise verification of the actual temperature inside the furnace chamber — ensuring the accuracy of the temperature displayed by the main control system.
Key Features :
-
Wide Measuring Range: 0–1300°C continuous measurement; ideal for long-term operation between 0–1200°C.
-
High Accuracy: Enables precise comparison between handheld readings and furnace display temperatures.
-
Reinforced Protection Tube: Wear-resistant, oxidation-resistant, and anti-sulfidation design for extended thermocouple life.
-
Customizable Design: Insertion depth and sheath diameter can be tailored to specific furnace types and applications.
-
Reliable Construction: The composite armored tube structure ensures stability and prevents temperature lag during measurement.
Applications:
-
Furnace temperature calibration and verification
-
High-temperature sintering process monitoring
-
Laboratory and industrial furnace testing
-
Metallurgical and materials research
-
Thermal process development in R&D laboratories
Example:
-
Insert alumina tube plugs at both ends of the furnace tube.
-
Insert the K-type armored thermocouple probe through the alumina plug’s center hole into the middle of the furnace chamber (the area with the highest sintering temperature).
-
Connect the thermocouple to the handheld digital thermometer.
-
On the furnace’s monitoring interface, input the sintering temperature curve.
-
Example: Set the target temperature to 400°C, heat for 40 minutes, and hold for 60 minutes.
-
During the hold stage, record the temperature from the handheld thermometer when the reading stabilizes.
-
Example result:
-
Handheld thermometer: 395°C
-
Furnace display: 400°C
-
Temperature deviation: 5°C
-
-
The same accuracy is achieved for 500°C and 600°C, confirming stable measurement reliability.
