ZYLAB Fused Silica Quartz Ceramic Crucible
Product Overview:
The ZYLAB Fused Silica Quartz Ceramic Crucible is manufactured from high-purity fused silica (SiO₂) and designed for high-temperature laboratory and industrial applications. It features excellent mechanical strength, outstanding resistance to high-temperature melt corrosion, and superior thermal shock stability, making it ideal for demanding heat treatment processes.
Key Features:
-
Exceptional Thermal Shock Resistance
The crucible can be heated to 1100 °C and immediately quenched in 20 °C water without cracking. Likewise, a crucible at room temperature (20 °C) can be directly placed into a 1100 °C furnace with no structural damage. -
High Temperature Resistance
Maximum operating temperature up to 1550 °C, suitable for high-temperature melting, sintering, and thermal processing. -
High Mechanical Strength
Dense fused silica structure provides excellent strength and durability, even under repeated thermal cycling. -
Excellent Resistance to Melt Corrosion
High chemical purity and stable structure ensure strong resistance to corrosion from molten materials at elevated temperatures.
Typical Applications:
-
High-temperature laboratory furnaces
-
Tube furnaces and box furnaces
