Compact High-Temperature Furnace for Molten Salt Electrochemistry and Small-Scale Reaction Research
Introduction
The ZYLAB Mini Molten Salt Furnace is a compact and integrated high-temperature experimental system designed for small-scale molten salt electrochemical and high-temperature reaction studies. With its space-saving structure and manual electrode lifting mechanism, this mini furnace is ideal for use inside glove boxes, fume hoods, or other confined laboratory environments. It combines a micro heating chamber with a precision electrode adjustment system, making it well-suited for exploratory research, educational demonstrations, and high-throughput screening.
Key Features
1. Compact and Space-Saving Design
With an overall height of less than 40 cm, the ZYLAB Mini Molten Salt Furnace occupies minimal space and can easily fit inside small glove boxes or standard laboratory fume hoods. Perfect for laboratories where workspace is limited.
2. Manual Electrode Lifting System
Equipped with a precision handwheel and lead screw mechanism, the electrode rod can be smoothly raised or lowered, allowing fine adjustment of electrode immersion depth and spacing for accurate experimental control.
3. Integrated Structural Design
The heating chamber, electrode stand, and electrode tube are integrated into one compact system. This stable, leak-resistant design simplifies installation and reduces the need for external connections.
4. Excellent High-Temperature Performance
Using durable resistance wire heating elements, the furnace can reach temperatures up to 1200°C, easily meeting the melting requirements of common molten salts such as chlorides and fluorides.
5. Low Sample Consumption
Designed for small-scale experiments, the furnace requires only a few grams to tens of grams of molten salt, helping save expensive or sensitive materials.
